incorrect display of images (duplicate some and ignore others)

HELLO ,

I have a problem with a mosaic of 30 logos in After Effects. Only 6 logos are displayed and duplicated to replace the other 24. I have already purged the cache, restarted the computer and reset the preferences without success. The names of the images are not similar, which rules out any confusion due to file names. (the names of the logo images were similar ( logo(1) logo(2)..) but I renamed them differently and the problem persists

Could you please help me to solve this problem or provide me with additional advice?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you very much for your help.

I just changed the location of the images again and it works.

Thanks again

Thanks for writing in, Zed. As I can understand, you have imported 30 different images in After Effects, and when you arrange them into the Composition panel, you can only see 6 logos. The other 24 are copies of the 6. Is that correct? Do you get the correct preview of the logos in the project panel? Are you on macOS or Windows? Can you try importing the images from a different location?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Nishu

Thank you so much for your reply .

Yes, that's right. I redid another project and I downloaded only 7 images (in the capture the duplicated red image is not supposed to exist in this new project. It is an image from a previous project. As if the cache is not empty and the display is not updated)

I tried to import the images from another location to no avail.
