Is Cinema 4D a free add-on to After Effects?

Newbie learning After Effects. Trying to use Cinema 4d -- it appears the program was not installed. Went through the procedure of setting up an account and now have a trial membership which becomes paid in two weeks. I thought this was a free add-on?

Maxon offers two kinds of Cinema 4D. Cinema 4D which is bundled with After Effects is free of charge. The feature is limited. The full version is a paid version. You log-in Maxon account and check which version is installed.
