Is it possible to reflect lit geometry in the new Advanced 3D renderer?

I’m wondering if it’s possible to have parametric shapes reflect each other, or if reflections are limited to lights and image-based lighting.

I put together a tutorial on the new realistic reflections in the Advanced 3D renderer, but for this specific case I ended up using a workaround.

    Hi Mike,

The Advanced 3D Renderer is not using raytracing, so objects reflecting on other objects is not currently supported.

    Hope this Helps,

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the question. I asked the team if they could weigh in on this one. I'll have to ask for your patience while we await a response. In the meantime, I hope the community might respond with a solution. Sorry for the frustration.

    Cheers,
