Question

Is there a possible way to remove Cinema4D out of After Effects 2021, on a Mac?

Cinema4D stuff is like almost 800MB, and my Mac is a low end one. I never use Cinema 4D. I attempted removing Cinema4D but After Effects could not even open up the splash screen, so I reinstalled.

Can someone provide me a way to remove these safely and not affect After Effects at all?

If you remove it you will lose functionality in After Effects. If you are just trying to save drive space on the boot drive, you could always move it from the Applications folder and put it on an external drive, and then create an Alias. You could also install the entire creative suite on an external drive by setting that up in the Creative Cloud app. That is what I am doing with the basic M1 Mac Mini I bought to test adobe apps. I added an external Thunderbolt 1 TB SSD and installed the entire CC suite there. It's working extremely well on an 8 GB 256 MB Mac Mini. Premiere Pro beta blows away my fully loaded $$$ MacBook Pro.
