Is there a Render In to Out option similar to the one in Premiere?

In Premiere you get the option to Sequence > Render In to Out which renders out the selected portion of the timeline so there's no stuttering when playing it back in the program. Is there an option to do this in After Effects?

Your can set the preview to the work area range and a similar setting exists in the output settings for final render. You may want to read the help.
