Is there a way to adjust gamma and / or contrast of the viewer in AE?

Hi,

Adjusting gamma and/or contrast of the viewer in After Effects would be useful when chromakeying for example, to make sure no imperfections / transparency will be discovered later.

Is this possible, or is there a workaround?

You can't tweak this separately since it's tied into the global color management. If you need such a facility, simply slap on an adjustment layer with the respective effects, though that should rarely even be necessary.
