Is there any other way to create the lines while being proportional without a plugin?

Basically I'm looking to create a proportional lines that comes out of the texts from the right to the corresponding individual texts to the left; what I have in mind is either create the lines in Ai or Ps then import but I'm not sure if it would make things easier at the end or just complicate it.

The image above is just a sample to what I'm working on. I came across a plugin that could do stuff like this easily but I forgot the name. The lines in the middle part were better than the rest but everything could be definitely be better.

Long and short: No. Unless you use the FxFactory Nodes plug-in, which no doubt is what you are referring to, none of this is automated. you always end up drawing tons of paths or in the case of a tool like Plexus creating extra Nulls and light layers to define the nachors of the paths. This simply can't be done the lazy way, especially if you want some level of control, which the Nodes plug-in won't necessarily provide.
