Issue in processing files

Hi team,

we are facing this issue while trying to process video files

warning: Audio conforming failed for the following file: "xxxx"

 

Do we have this fixed this in any new versions/ What is root cause for this

Hi Sujith,

 

What version of After Effects are you using? Are you on a Mac or Windows? Try clearing media cache (Edit > Purge > All Memory & Disk Cache) and restarting After Effects.

Hi Nishu,

We are using a windows instance

The version of after efects is 24.1.0

 

restarting after effects will work. But can we please get an understanding of what the issue is actually here?

As per my understanding, you're seeing this error because After Effects is not able to generate cache for the file properly. Multiple factors can cause this: issues with the location where the media is stored, permission restrictions, corruption of the media cache, an issue with the file itself, etc. Clearing the cache should help. If it doesn't, try changing the location of the media. I'd suggest using a local location for testing.
