Issue With After Effects Exporting To Media Encoder.

Hi There,

I'm on a 2019 5 iMac (top spec and fully up to date with big sur). I am using the most up to date versions of both apps through creative cloud. 

I have been making animations in after effects and exporting them with media encoder with no issues until all of a sudden last week it no longer wanted to work. When I go to export with media encoder it opens media encoder but nothing comes up. Sometimes and that's sometimes not everytime the project will eventually appear in the media encoder queue but then it takes equally as long to start to export it and sometimes that fails. If I click on it I just get the trying to find dynamic link thing for ages with no resolution. 

Anyone know how I can fix this? I have tried a lot of random things i've found on the internet but to no avail.
