Keyframe Region of Interest position?

Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible to keyframe the region of interest so that it follows a subject moving across screen.  I'd like to isolate a small area within a 4K project in order to reduce test render file sizes, but the subject has business throughout the frame.  It would be helpfull to isolate the relevent area as it moves, much like a camera following it's subject.  Obviousley scale and aspect cant be changed, because the output file is fixed to a single variation, but can position be adjusted over time?

Thanks

Not possible and since AE is a buffer-based renderer, it wouldn't do you much good in terms of memory consumption and processing of layers a lot of the times. Nothing stops you from doing a single-point stabilization track and using a smaller comp with your subject pinned to the center, though. You could even re-introduce the original motion by inverting the position data with an expression later on...
