Layers cut off suddenly

My layers were appearing fine then suddenly appeared weird in preview but ok when I exported. Then after a while they became weird on export too. I feel like it's something to do with 3D and / or continuously rasterise but I can't figure out how to fix it. Help!

Have you done the usual of flushing the caches and playing around with the hardware acceleration settings? Your comp otherwise looks pretty much run-off-the-mill and should not cause too much trouble.

Yes. I think maybe it was a problem with Animation Composer or my Illustrator file. Managed to fix it by updating Animation Composer, removing those effects and going back into the Illustrator file and moving things a bit and saving.

If you don't show us your timeline with the layers and their options, we can't figure out anything, either. Sorry, but that's pretty much useless and we can stand here all day guessing what the issue is.

I'm getting the feeling that it's more of a bug than a timeline thing. Now I'm getting the dreaded "unknown exception" error and the problematic comp won't show at all.
