Lens Flare and Colour lens Falre Zoom Lens Flare

Is there any chance I could make a suggestion.

Adding a lens flare, a small screen pops up and it's difficult to pinpoint the lens flare.

Is it also possible to add some kind of gradient to to the lens flare so we change the colour?

That's why people have long switched over to commercial lens flare plug-ins like Optical Flares, BCC Lensflare, Sapphire Lensflare and so on. That's basically the answer. While your requests to beef iup the old Photoshop flare are all valid, it's extremely unlikely anyone will ever spend any development resources on that in light of the many alternatives.
