List of Implemented Features in Advanced3D
Is there as such one, and where, a list of currently implemented features in the Advanced3D renderer?
I just noticed, that direction of the normals in GLB files is ignored (or is it?), at least a single-sided model in GLB Validifier renders as double-sided in AFX.
Earlier, I already posted problems with scene lighting, as 3D layers use completely different shading than 3D objects, and since changes in A3D renderer, there is no longer an option to ignore lights. Also, impossible to color correct 3D layers directly, in no other way than via Calculations filter. No depth-compositing options.
Would be nice to know (1) what else we can/can't do, and (2) what features are planned for the upcoming AFX releases. Otherwise, it is impossible to plan a production pipeline for compositing and all the R&D goes to standstill, and we'd be forced to abandon CC subscription completely and consider alternatives.
