Logo animation with vector shapes has ragged edges

Hi all

I recently created a new logo and converted it to an animated version inside After Effects using the masking tools over a gradient (see attached).
Now, the issue is that for some reason, even after render the edges are not ant-aliased.
How can I make these edges smoother, as the only topis I see are apply a blur, which is NOT what I want, I want it anti-aliased if possible.

Thanks in advance

Rob

Hey please check that your composition's resolution is set to 'Full' to maintain maximum clarity. For vector layers, activate the 'Continuously Rasterize' option; this keeps your graphics sharp during scaling or transformations.

If you're working with shape layers, verify that their quality settings are at 'Best'. Additionally, please use the free FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) plugin, which offers efficient edge smoothing without significant blurring. By implementing these steps, you should notice a significant improvement in the smoothness of your logo's edges.

Did you maybe by accident change the “Quality and Sampling” setting for your layers?

Hi Rene
Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the delay I have notification issues on this community.
Anyway, no, the logo shape is not a text layer it's a mask over a gradient background. But the antialias is on.

Thanks

Rob
