Lumetri Color Scales footage

I have a 1920x1080 .mxf in a 608x1080 Comp, to crop it and to make a vertical promo.

When I add Lumetric Color to this Layer, it scales the layer horizontally to fit in the Comp size.

This is strange behaviour.

For anyone still having this issue, you have to put Lumetri Color on an Adjustment Layer above your footage.
