Macbook pro 2020 13 inch intel and AE

Hi! I have at home a Mac studio M2 Max with 64Gb of ram and works great, but a few times in a year i need to traverl and take my work with me, i was thinking in getting a MBP 13 inch 2020 intel just to open the projects, do some changes and then render, that's it, the rest of the time it will spend it in some corner in my home office.
Why this MBP? Beacuse i can get one really cheap with 32GB of ram, i tried the M1 Pro with 16GB of ram and sadly is too litle ram that after a few seconds i already have like 8GB of swap.
My other option at the same cost could be a MBA M1 with 16GB ram.
I am not in the US so getting a Mac it's quite expensive, and getting a Gaming Laptop is out of the question because they are big and heavy.

So does anyone have some experience with the 13 inch MBP? or o get the MBA?
