Media Encoder fails EVERY TIME
Hi,
I've asked this question before, but I never really got a working answer. So I'm trying one more time.
Here's the issue: When rendering a video, as the title suggests AME crashes EVERY TIME. I usually make short designs with 3D assets quite often, so this is frustrating.
This oddly started occurring after I upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1660 SUPER to an RTX 3060 Ti. I never had this issue before, and I haven't changed much with my workflow/fx usage.
Project Details:
10-20 seconds
1440p 60fps main render comp w/ 16bit bpc (crashes on 1080 as well)
A lot of FX including third party plugins, but again, never happened before.
1 Camera
1-2 PNG sequences
10-15 Adjustment Layers (Some contain lighter effects, some with more)
4 Solids with Red Giant plugins
4-6 Overlays w/ FX
3 Optical Flares
The render tends to fail around a time when a couple of effects come in. I know you probably want to say that's the issue, but again, this NEVER happened before.
It always works fine with AE's Render queue, but the files are always enormous (12 GB for a 15-sec video?) and I need the mp4 format.
I will experiment a little more with some settings. But if you have any suggestions/tips that would be great! Thanks!
