Media encoder forum unresponsive?

Hi all, I have a problem with media encoder 2020 producing a grey cast on what should be pure whites, within all infographic style work. It happens on H264 mpgs. The source files are Prores and have no visible colour issues.

The problem seems to happen when clicking max colour depth? This has happened since updating to 2020. I can turn the setting off and this stops the problem. But I like using max depth if it produces better gradations. 

 

I have asked the media encoder forum, but there is no reply from them. I know a lot of people use media encoder from After effects.  I know there are contrast controls and LUT settings but it should really work properly without this.

Can you post a screenshot please.

 

I know that H264 tend to gamma shift, resulting in a greyish image - but I thought this was resolved already.
