Media Encoder not working with After Effects

Hello-

 

Media Encoder is not working properly with After Effects. I'm having several different issues:

 

1. When I try to export from Ae to Me, sometimes the comps don't show up in Me at all

2. Other times, if an exported comp DOES show up in Me and I try to export it says "Loading Project" but the project never loads.

3. I also cannot add more than six comps at a time when it is working.

 

At the moment, Me is not accepting any comps from Ae.

 

Specs:

- Me 23.5 Build 51

- Ae 23.5.0 Build 52

 

Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.1992

13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF 3.00 GHz

32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable)

64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

 

I am having a lot of problems with Me and Pr right now and I am getting really frustrated. 18+ year user. Sad.

    Aside from the usual "It's FUBARed." there isn't really much to say and I think there is a ton of officially acknowledged bugs around this. Downgrading apparently won't help much on Win 11. That said, the first thing I would do is home able legacy graphics modd in Win 11. A lot of this stuff seems to hingebon the different driver model and thus how apps access resources and by extension some security stuff. Perhaps just this one thing will help.
