Media Encoder won't properly export GIF from AE, it's laggy and slow

Question

I need to export a GIF version of my video (so it can loop and autoplay when I post it on Behance). I made a video edit in After Effects for my product, the file is 4000x4000 and I need it like that, cuz my other stuff that I recently uploaded on my Behance draft are also the same size and I didn't have the issues with another GIF, except it was the size of: 4000x2000, because it was the first page of the project and it rendered as I wanted it. I tried to export from After Effects to PhotoShop and I get an error, so the only solution is the Media Encoder. I also tried to convert from mp4 to gif using some online apps but it didn't work and now I'm desprate to find an solution, please help.

Efficient animated gifs do not have any duplicate frames because you can set the duration of every frame. The frame rate of an animated GIF should be 12 to 15 fps maximum. There are only 256 colors available in total, so you need to very carefully design the image and limit the palette to get predictable results. The size of a web graphic should be based on the average user's effective display resolution. I don't know anyone with a 4000 X 4000 display so the frame size seems excessive. If you need full-screen animated images for the web that show off your work program like Adobe Animate is going to give you a much better option. It won't be a looping video, but you can animate almost any design on the web using the right software.
