Mercury 3D adn Raytracer not supported with Nvidia K4200 Video card

Hi!

Does anyone know how to enable Nvidia K4200 video card to run Mercury 3D and raytracer in After Effects 2023?

 

In "GPU Info" itshows the message:

 

Draft 3D: Not Available (inadequate VRAM or graphics driver)

Texture Memory: 0,00 MB
Graphics Card
Vendor: NVIDIA
Device: Quadro K4200
Version: 11.400000 (2,0 or later required)
Total Memory: 4,00 GB (2 GB or greater required)

The Ray-traced 3D Renderer is deprecated and has been gone from After Effects for some time. The info you posted is a pretty good starting point. It shows that you have enough VRAM, but your driver isn't up-to-date. Check this page to see if you have the latest driver, and if not, install that, restart your computer, then try to use the new engine again.
