Mercury Acceleration Keeps reverting from GPU to software only

GPU acceleration option enabled (tiny rocket ship) keeps reverting back to software only. I constantly have to turn it back on. This bug has been going now for a very long time, each version no change. 

 

Windows 10 

RTX 3080ti (with current driver)

AE latest 22.4.0

Hey JBrown321,

 

Sorry for the problem you’re experiencing. Does this issue have any pattern to it or is it completely random? Are you using any third-party plugins? Please make sure that you are using the studio drivers and not the game ready ones.

It's completely random to the best of my knowledge. I am now on a brand new Windows 11 machine with new adobe installs and I have the same issues. I do have third party plugins but they are raely used. Yes using studio drivers. This must be a bug. It's been around for atleast a year now with every version I use.
