Migrate plugins, presets, and scripts

It would be very useful if After Effects had the ability to migrate plugins, presets, and scripts with each version upgrade. Right now, I have to go back to my 2021 version, find the missing 3rd party add ons, and copy them over to their place in AE 2022. Each copy requires I enter the admin password on my Mac. It's not just 3 times, because each of these folders have subfolders, so it ends up being 12 times. Plus I have the uncertainty of wondering if I found and copied all the pieces.

Is there any update on this? 2024 and still pain to migrate your everything

I completely agree.  I don't understand how this didn't become easier as soon as it became a subscription service.
