Missing certain tools in after effects?

I'm missing certain tools in after effects? I was following along a tutorial but was shot dead in the water when I was missing these 3 tools? Is it just not on the newer versions of after effects anymore? I'm fairly new to the program! Circled in red is what I'm missing.
