missing character font style

I have the problem, that in the font "helvetica now", font style "thin", the letter "s" is not available.
If I choose that combination, its just using another font style for that character.

In other programs, such as photoshop or premiere all letters are available, so it might be a problem of AE.
"Reset Character" didnt work either.

Can someone please help me?

That looks annoying!

Firstly, the obvious stuff - restart your machine.

Perhaps its caused by a conflict with another font? Try temporarily deactivating all other Helvetica font variants so its the only one activated. Restart AE to assess.

Try re-installing the font. Restart AE to assess.

Where did you acquire the font? Can you substitute with another Helvetica variant? There are plenty of free ones.

There were plenty different versions of helvetica installed and as you said, that might have caused the trouble.
After deleting most of them it fixed the problem!
