Missing Files Bug in After Effects 2021 / V.18.2.1/ Win10x64

Hello,

So I have encountered this bug that missing files are not shown in the project window with the usual color bar icon but with the normal sequence icon even though they are missing. Also, if I type "miss.." in the search bar of the project window, which used to show all the missing files - it doesnt show the missing files anymore.

Sorry for your issue. Could you share the following details:

  • Your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS)?
  • Does it happen with all the projects?
  • Please share screenshots that show the problem.

Hi Nishu_kush.

My System Specs: win10 64bit, AE 2020, 2x1080TI MSI, 128GB Vengeance

But this doesnt really matter, as it is a problem with the new AE-Versions. 
Have you tried it out or are you just pointing the spearhead back to the customer?
Have you found too that when you type "miss" in the project search window you get nothing?
Which is "the new way" to find out which files are missing?
