Missing "Use layer as fallback text box" checkbox in Source text properties dialog

Question

Ok, i´m feeling stupid here, because i´m looking for this option in 2 differents computer with adobe after effects 2023 version, and when i try to set up my text into the essential graphics panel, i´m missing the "Use layer as fallback text box" option in the dialog, i only get to see the three main options:

So my question is, what i´m doing wrong? is there anything i´m missing to this being shown?

Perhaps it has been changed to behave more gracefully and not require this option anymore, but I wasted five minutes of my life and did not find a mention of it anywhere, not in the AE docs, not in Premiere. I'm gonna report it to the authorities...
