Mocha AE not working

Thought I would revive this old problem. Discretely fails to persist shortly after launch showing the sign up to newsletter page and the stand alone plugin app before crashing.

 

Mocha has never been used. AE is up to date. Laptop is 1.5 years old - gaming spec ASUS Tuff with aftermarket 32GB ram, 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H (2.30 GHz),  RTX 3050 GeForce.

It dicretely fails meaning there are no error reports or crash reports... it is just the plugin app afterall.

I did solve it - it was a memory issue. My default memory for "other apps" was 5GB and so I increased this to 10GB - I am often switching between apps.

That's not ideal. Sorry to hear about the issue.

 

Are there any error messages or crash reports? Can you try running After Effects as an administrator (right-click its icon > Run as administrator)? Also, I'd suggest reaching out to Boris FX support to get help on this.
