Mocha AE Tracking Off-set

Part way through my applying tracking data from the Mocha plug-in back into AE, the object I am applying that data to suddenly is off-set by a constant amount (below and to the left where it should be, but it tracks consistantly, just off-set). I can't go frame by frame correcting that. Is there a way to reset where the object should be and let the tracking data carry on from that point?

Thanks.

You have a couple of options. The one I use for a lot of shots is to just start a new spline (layer) and track backward, move to the keyframe at the start of the track and track to the end.

Another option is to stop the track as soon as the surface moves out of frame, set a keyframe, move down the timeline until the surface is back in the frame, grab the entire spline and drag it back into position, then start tracking backward until it leaves the frame again.  You don't need keyframe information when the surface is not in the frame. Then you can just use the next keyframe jump to where you started tracking in reverse and track to the end. I use both techniques all the time.

If there is are more than four or five frames between the object leaving the frame I'll split the track and run two separate trackers. The most efficient workflow depends entirely on the shot.

It's a crude fix... but: If you select the tracking keyframes that are offset, and put your playhead over one of them, you should then be able to scrub the position property values in the timeline to adjust the 'en-mass'.
