Mocha AE "Unknown Error" message when opening from After Effects.

I updated After Effects to utilize the Mocha AE plugin. When I go to use it it takes me to the Mocha window where a blank screen comes up with the message "Uknown Error". I cannot find a way to proceed based on other posts in this community.

Hey David, I also had this problem.  After scratching my head and having a look around the forums to no avail, I found that it was due to my footage being reversed.

I took the timing effect off and Mocha worked as usual.

    In order to let mocha "reads" effects or retime effects applied to a layer you must precompose first. Mocha only works with the source footage.

    • What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)?
    • What's the exact version of After Effects you're using?
    • What are the details of the footage you're trying to track (frame rate, frame size, format/codec)?
