MOoV not supported / 86::1 after opening working files on my Macbook

Hoping to get some help on this. I'm currently traveling and so working on a Macbook instead of my usual setup using a Windows PC. I work using a hard drive that I've formatted to exFAT so it works for both operating systems.

I just opened up a file I've been working on with my PC and I keep receiving error messages for MOoV file not supported/corrupted and 86::1 error message, rendering pretty much all my files to not work. All my MOV files are set to default open with QuickTime, they were never open with Windows Media Player by default.

Is there anything I can do so I can quickly repair these files(?) and get to work? Thank you - contacting the support chatbot didn't help because it said it would find an agent and then disconnected me.

All is good now - I just opened AE with Rosetta and it fixed everything.

Check the Info in the Finder (Alt/Option + Right-click on the file). What is the format of the MOV file?
