Motion Tile Effect Missing/Gone

Hey! 

So i have been using After Effects for a while now and came across a video on YouTube in which the uploader gave away some presets and plug-ins. I did the usual progress in adding them to my other presets and plug-ins in my folders but they didn't work after opening AE. And on top of that  after removing them again and opening AE, i realised that i couldn't find the MOTION TILE effect anymore! I don't know how to get it back! Please someone help....

I would really appreciate it!

Hi Bambii94,

 

That doesn't sound ideal.

Have you tried resetting the preferences of After Effects: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-after-effects/td-p/10634342?page=1

If it doesn't help, try reinstalling After Effects.
