Motion tracking in AE CC 2018 broken for anything above 1920x1080

Tried this numerous times and solved it so far by going back to AE 2014 which is luckily still installed on my system. But it's getting very annoying and shouldn't be an issue after all. And currently i'm locked in a version specific comp that needs tracking, but I can't get it intoCC 2014. Can you please roll out a fix for this Adobe? I'm on win 7 x64 running AE 15.12 (Build 69).

Or is there a work-around for this?

    CC 2018 requires Microsoft Windows 10 (64 bit) versions 1703 (Creators Update) and later.

    Perhaps this is the cause for your issue?

    Ah, bummer. Well, if nobody else has problem motion tracking 4k-material that's a possibility for sure. Thanks.
