Multiple font styles via expressions. Has anything changed?

Hi Adobe community.

I know that changing font via expressions didn't work if we wanted 2 or more different styles per layer. Does anyone know if things changed? Or if it is anything in plan? Is it possible to change 2 or more different fonts in the same layer with expressions?

In so many words: No, nothing has changed and given how typically Adobe has this "one & done" attitude about such stuff, I wouldn't expect any major changes any time soon, as it would massive changes to the expression engine yet again.
