my pc configuration is amd ryzen 5 4600g,

I don't have a video card,

16 gigabytes of ddr4 ram

, 1tb of storage.

My after effects freezes when I open the graph editor in a precomp.

Sorry to hear about the issue. Could you let us know more about the behaviour?

1. Does it freeze completely, and do you have to restart After Effects?

2. Are there any third-party plug-ins installed?

3. Does it happen with all the projects or just a particular one?

Try running After Effects in Safe Mode and see if that brings any change. Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Hello good evening, I've been messing around and discovered that it crashes because of the photos, I can use precomp as long as there are no images, but this is bad for me, because any image in any project within a precomp crashes, I don't have any plugin and using safe mode didn't help me. I need to reestart after effects.

Thanks for getting back. It usually happens when the images/media are corrupted. You may need to open the images in Photoshop or any other image processing application and export them.
