My after effects won't launch

Whenever i start my AE 22, a pop up screen appears that says "After Effects can’t continue: unexpected failure during application startup".

I'd recommend updating to a more recent version of After Effects. Can you also

share your system specs and operating system?

yea ofcourse, i own a m1 macbook pro with 8gb of memory. That is updated to version 15.4.1 macos sequoia. Unfortunately i do no want to update my after effects due to the reason that when i did update it, i couldn't find the specific project i was going to edit from previous updated AE.
