My after effects wont open

Sorry to hear you're having a bit of trouble. The beta version usually doesn't cause any issues, but you might want to try uninstalling them. If that doesn't do the trick, can you tell me what happens when you try to launch After Effects? Do you see the splash screen? Does it get past that? Any error messages or crash reports pop up?

if you have more betas, like illustrator and so on, may some of those betaprogramms are causing this.
But for now it seems that you have a valid workaround. but maybe not backwards compatible

After Effects beta opened. at least I can work on the projects!

I unstalled the photoshop beta i had installed, but it didnt work. maybe i should try the after effects beta version...

I had the same problem with Photoshop. 
I uninstalled the After Effects Beta Version and then it worked again.

Just try to uninstall one beta version of teh creative cloud after another,

to see which is causing the problem.
