MY Blending Mode is not working

Hello l am new to after effect and l want to know which problem that l have this is the latest version of after effect and the layer blending mode is not working .......lf u know please answer me!

The screenshot with the image shows the Footage panel. Blend modes are not visible in the Footage Panel because you can only see a single layer.

Try changing to the Composition Panel.

It seems to work just fine, but your AO pass of course needs to be set to Multiply as well, given that shader passes have no transparency and are completely reliant on using blending modes.
