My imported video sound has been slowed down and cut short

I imported a 17 second video into after effects, and the sound has now been slowed down completely and about half of the audio has been cut. the visual is fine, just the sound. does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay i found a fix for this, the problem was that i used an MP4 file. So all i had to do was convert it to an MOV file using cloudconvert. You could probably use Handbrake for this too.
