My Roto Brush in version 26.5 doesn't work at all. The strokes disappear when I move the cursor, and freezing it doesn't create any visible results. I've tried different versions and several fixes, but nothing works.

My Roto Brush in version 26.5 simply doesn't work. I can't use any of the available versions. I can make the strokes, and sometimes even select the areas, but as soon as I move the cursor away, the markings disappear. If I freeze it, it processes, but nothing appears visually. It only creates an Object Matte in the layer, but I can't actually use it. I've tried searching for a solution but couldn't find anything. I've tried several fixes and different versions of Roto Brush, but nothing changes. It keeps behaving exactly the same way. My next step is to uninstall and reinstall After Effects, but if that doesn't work, I honestly don't know what else to do.

Hey, thanks for sharing what’s happening! Could you share your system specs (OS, CPU, RAM, and GPU), your exact AE version, and a short screen recording showing the strokes disappearing and the result after freezing?

Does this happen with every clip or just this footage? Also, which fixes have you already tried? That’ll help us avoid repeating them.

Before reinstalling, try the same clip in a new project and test in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled. Let us know if anything changes.
