Neon look shape 3d trapcode

I was watching the tutorial below and wanted to get that neon look of the shape by using 32 bit colors but I only get white lines not the three separate colors in the begining of the tutorial. Could anyone help me with why the colors don't look as the turorial?
He clicks on RGB but each time I click on it I only get one color at a time.

There is an additional glow adjustment layer on top of the strokes in the tutorial. This matters.
