Hi everybody, I've just installed AE 2019 and no audio.

It work with Audition, websites but no AE.

Thank you for helping me.

Go to Preferences > Audio Hardware, and ensure everything is set correctly. If all was working correctly with the previous version, it's possible the preferences did not transfer over.

Also, because I have "fixed" this issue for others before with a simple question: are there headphones or other audio devices attached that could be muted or have their own volume turned down? Eliminate as many variables as possible.

Also, go to your Preview panel and make sure the audio did not get muted somehow

Thanl you Kyle and Paul for your fast answer. It works after puting same audio devices as the previous ae cc.

Lucky you. I am in High Sierra and the update killed audio, glitchy on and off during RAM preview. Have tried different buffer settings to no avail. I think the caching has changed again, as I am now getting much shorter previews, if any. bring on the .1 updates (and get me off this mac)

On which OS did you install AE?
