Null object effects not visible or exported in Essential graphics

Question

Hi, newbie here.I have a simple animation with a shape object and two text boxes coming in from the right side that I need a copy of coming in from the left side. I've made it work by linking the copy to a parent null object on which I set the scale to -100. This was then exported as a .mogrt and used as a template in Premiere. It worked fine but now, about three months later, I needed to change the paragraph setting for one of the text boxes. The animation plays up as it should in After effects but in the Essential Graphics window the Poster window the animation shows as the right-sided version. The same goes when the left-sided version is exported as .mogrt and played in Premiere. I can´t find the cause of the problem and have no idea of if or how it is possible to work around it. Would be very grateful for any help!

You can set a poster frame in the EG menu if that's all you're concerned with. That notwithstanding, there appear to be soem bugs where this doesn't always update correctly, so you may just need to wait for an update to fix things. Also consider pre-composing to get a more graceful and predictable behavior. A lot of that still hinges on rendering order and trying to do everything in a "flat" composition is not necessarily always the best option.
