Official course : Remove a large object from a video

Choose Window > Content-Aware Fill to open that tool’s panel. For the Fill Method, select Object if it moves within the shot. (Use Surface to replace an object that doesn’t move and use Edge Blend to replace a flat area of color.) Select the range you want to fix and then click Generate Fill Layer.

I need more clear video on these steps, it is automatic to fill the black hole with background color or need to be filled by Photoshop ? official doc. are not very clearly to describe these steps

    The first thing you should do is download the source files for that tutorial and follow the steps precisely. If repeating that technique isn't working for you then we really need to see the shot that is giving you problems. Content-Aware fill requires a pretty good understanding of masking, tracking, and experience in knowing what can and what cannot be easily removed. It's just like using CAF in Photoshop. It works great with some images but fails completely with others. I watched that tutorial, as well as several others you can find in the User Guide and the What's new documents Adobe provides and have successfully used CAF several times in the recent past. 

     

    The requirement to generate a fill layer is pretty automatic but not necessary for all shots. If I remember correctly, in that sample footage all you have to do is poke a hole in the layer with a mask where the trucks are and push go. I don't have time to watch the tutorial again right now, but I don't recall having any problems following the instructions so I could figure out how to use the tool.

     

    If you are having problems with a specific shot we really need to see screenshots or better yet, see the video and have a detailed explanation that tells us exactly what you are trying to remove and what problems you are running into.

    I could not complete project, I didn’t know the difference between “Object” , “Surface”, and “Edge Blend” when I used Function “Content Aware Fill”, Could you please teach me which one should be used for this project, and what are the differences for three functions, thanks you help. (Ps: I tried to use same function “Object” only same as above project, but failed)
