older versions of After Effects

I am on After Effects 2020 on the PC. In the Progam Files location in the Adobe folder, it has the various folders of all the adobe programs dating back to CC 2017 which I no longer use since I am on 2020. It should be ok to delete those older adobe program folders since the After Effects vesion is taking up more space?

Yes if your CC2020 release working fine without any problem, sure you can delete the previous versions, but just remember you're not able to reinstall this old version once ou delete them, you can only download one previous release
