When rendering MP4 videos with version 25.2, black edges may appear at the edges. MOV and AVI are normal, and when using the third-party plugin Voukoder for rendering, it is also normal

Neither reinstalling the software nor upgrading to a higher version worked. Eventually, I found that the issue could only be resolved if the resolution was set to even numbers. However, due to the particularity of my project, I still used the MOV format and ultimately solved the problem by using a third-party format conversion tool.

Unusual resolution can sometimes cause such issues. Glad to hear that you were able to find a workaround.

Modifying the software encoding settings has no effect, nor does launching the software in safe mode. Currently, I plan to reinstall version 25.2. If that still fails to resolve the issue, I intend to install a higher version to address it.

That's not ideal.

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Does it happen with all the project just a specific project? Can you try switching performance from Hardware Encoding to Software Encoding in the Export settings?

Let me know if that brings any change.

Thanks,
