Hi all,

I need to track motion a footage (.mov with several effects on it, Key Light etc). So, double click on the layer in the Time panel and I espect to see the footage in de Layers panel, but there's nothing to see but grey. I work in the latest version of CC 2020.

Things I did to solve the problem:

- Tried some other layers (from solids to JPG's) and they stays also blank!

- I have an older computer with CS5 on it (where the same footage does work in de Layers panel) to compare settings, but I did not see any differences

- Asked Google for this 'problem'. There are two older topics compare to this on Adobe Support with no good solution

- All layers in compositions are visible and doing there job

I hope someone can help me out! 🙂

Try reseting Workspace in menu Windows / Worspace / Reset "Xxxxxxx" to Saved Layout. If not, try deleting Ae preferences doing this:

Press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while launching After Effects. You can release the Alt or Option key when the splash screen appears.

To reset preferences and plug-in cache at the same time, hold down Control-Shift-Alt (Windows) or Command-Shift-Option (Mac OS) while the application is starting. Release the keys when the splash screen appears.

Byron.
