"Output To:" After effects won't let me select an output destination

Since updating to Monterey, I no longer can select an ouput destination when I click it. Even with importing I get a grey box as attached. WHen outputing nothing happens at all.

I have tried reseeting permissions and reset the preferences. Neither helped.

Any suggestions?

Looks like a permission issue, try to check the security settings and see if you can give AE access permission to your SSD, also try to reset after effects preferences https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-after-effects/td-p/10634342
