The size of your graphic card VRAM seems short to launch After Effects. You see the minimum system requirements.

Hello Toolfarm JP, thank you for your reply. It’s true that the VRAM is a bit limited; however, before the crash, I was able to open After Effects without any problem.

Shortly we will be putting in a change that won't allow machines with only 2GB VRAM to run After Effects, so this will become a blocker soon. We also know the 1050 cards are quite unstable with AE and will be removed from compatability soon. So something to be thinking about.

Working on reviewing your crash logs.

Sorry to hear about the issue, houot5FC9.

Are there any third-party plug-ins installed? Try running After Effects in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled.

Let me know if that brings any change. Moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for troubleshooting.

Thanks,
Nishu

No any third-party plug-ins installed and I can't running to safe mode.

Error message block safe mode.

That message is just handling a case where something else in the OS or installed on your machine is injecting menu items into AE's menus unexpectedly. It is informational only.

After you crash, do you get a dialog to enter what happened that you can submit? If so, we can try to look that submitted report up to really see what is going on.
