Parent multiple points to one null

Question

I know there's a script for creating nulls from the selected path, but is there a way to create ONE null and have every point selected parent to that, previously I would create one additional null and parent all the nulls to that, but I was wondering if there's an easier way to go about this without covering my entire timeline with nulls.

If you want to move an entire mask or shape layer path, animate the position of the layer or the shape. No need for the Nulls.

If you also need to have Points follow Nulls, then I suggest using label group colors, shying layers, locking layers, and other workflows to simplify the look of your comps.
